Our Story

My name is Alexis Kaufman, and I am 22 years old. I have a 4 year old, beautiful baby boy. I am the founder of The Aesthetics Lab. It was opened on September 30, 2021. It all started when I was 17 years old. I went to school for cosmetology and was finding my way. I continued to secure other certifications during my journey, when I noticed my heart was stuck on skin care. I decided to further my education and go to school to be an aesthetician to obtain more in depth knowledge about the skin. When I did that, I knew right away this is what I would be spending the rest of my life doing! When I graduated, I got a job immediately as a wax specialist and absolutely loved it. Over time, I did want to do other forms of waxing such as sugaring and also wanted to delve into facials more. I then decided to turn a room in my home into my mini spa room. That is where I built my clientele and started offering more services such as waxing, sugaring, facials, vagacials, and teeth whitening. I, of course, would’ve loved to have added even more services at the time, but for one, it was only me, and I was only in my home with not much room. I was blessed with the opportunity to open a storefront! I can’t wait to provide even more services in my beautiful and relaxing spa as we grow together! I am grateful for every last one of my clients.
